Anthony McGinn Obituary
He was born January 4, 1964, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Ronald J. "Bud" and Lois Livingston McGinn. On May 20, 1995, he was united in marriage to Sandra Ryherd in Cedar Falls. He was employed as a mechanic at Mike's Brake and Front end in Waverly, Tuffy's in Cedar Falls, and Canteen in Waterloo over the course of 30 years.
Tony is survived by his wife, Sandi of Waverly; daughter, Ashley McGinn (fiancé Clayton Vogeler) of Traer; and sister, Terri Meyer of Cedar Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Al Duggan; and sister, Patricia Black-Jackson.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2024, at Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences at www.richardsonfuneralservice.com.

so sorry to hear about Tony. I went to school with him at Saint Pats and he worked on my car at Tuffy. It was great to reconnect with him. Condolences to his entire family.

Tony and I go waaay back. We walked around the ledge of St. Pat's church in '74.
We, infact were very mischievous together. Hell, I remember when I got asked to leave wait I didn't get asked to leave.. when I got kicked out of St Pat's I thought it was Tony pinching me on the shoulder but it was actually sister Mathias and I kicked her dead heart in the shin... that was a Friday. Monday morning I was a student of Southdale. I remember making prank phone calls one night from my house. We had found Carol Settles phone number. She was having a slumber party and we were running our naughty mouths. My dad called Tony's dad and he gave permission to my dad to whip Tony with a belt and so we both got it. But I digress.
